Experteer Overview In this role you will integrate, validate, and test autonomous systems to ensure safe, reliable performance across diverse real-world scenarios. You will support the scaling and deployment of our autonomous fleet, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You’ll focus on perception, navigation, and control validation, using simulations and on-road testing to drive continuous improvements. This position offers the chance to contribute to sustainable, driverless middle-mile deliveries at scale. Compensation / Benefits • Lead software/hardware integration within the autonomous driving system for robust operation • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and procedures for system-level validation (perception, navigation, control) • Perform in-lab and on-road testing to assess reliability and safety under diverse scenarios • Use simulation environments (Gazebo, Carla) to create reproducible test scenarios for rapid validation of updates • Troubleshoot sensor integration, data processing, and software-hardware communication issues • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to optimize sensor performance (Lidar, radar, cameras, GPS) • Analyze test data to identify trends and drive root-cause analysis • Automate testing workflows with tools like Jenkins and custom Python scripts Tasks • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • 4+ years in testing, validation, and integration of autonomous/robotic systems (preferably AV/transport) • Strong proficiency in ROS/ROS2, C++, Python • Familiarity with Gazebo, Carla, and hardware-in-the-loop testing • Hands-on experience with Lidar, radar, cameras, IMUs; calibration and troubleshooting • Data analysis and performance optimization; ability to produce reports for system improvements • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment Key requirements •
