Position Overview
As a Robot Operator, you will work directly with Skild AI’s cutting-edge robotic systems and play a crucial role in developing their capabilities. Data collection and teleoperation are central to how we train robotic intelligence, and we’re seeking detail-oriented, curious individuals who can quickly learn new setups and tasks, follow precise instructions, and adapt to evolving priorities.
Responsibilities

• Operate robotic systems across a variety of tasks (e.g., packing, insertion, assembly, manipulation).
• Execute teleoperation and data collection workflows accurately and consistently.
• Maintain efficiency, precision, and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineering leads to troubleshoot and improve workflows.
• Uphold company policies regarding professionalism, safety, and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Baseline technical literacy (e.g., computer use, basic troubleshooting).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform both standing and seated work for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Other Details

• This is a full-time, on-site position based at our facility.
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (morning or evening).
• Candidates must meet performance expectations for both the quality and quantity of data collected.
